CEO and Co-Founder

Tom Serres is a seasoned technology professional, specializing in digital strategy and leveraging new media technologies. He has consulted for political campaigns, from the smallest levels of government to federal and statewide offices, corporations, and non-profits. He was named a 2009 rising political star by Politics Magazine, awarded with the title of "40 under 40" in 2009 by the New Leaders Council, and is a CNN Political Technology Expert in Washington, DC. In 2008 Tom was nominated as a semi-finalist for INC. Magazines 30 under 30 award and was a semi-finalist for the 2008 National Social Innovation Competition. Tom is a frequent guest and contributor across a wide range of media including ABC News, The Austin American Statesman, Politics Magazine, CNN Domestic, CNN International, CNN Online, Discovery Channel, Fox News and Venture Beat.

Naveed Lalani
Product Director and Co-Founder

Naveed Lalani has over a decade of experience in consulting businesses of all sizes on their web presence and technical infrastructure. His expertise includes product strategy, creative direction, UX / UI, and development management. He is an active member of the community, serving in leadership roles in several organizations including Texas Ventures and the Ismaili Professionals Network.

Jonas Lamis
Operations Director and Co-Founder

Jonas Lamis has spent the last 15 years launching and growing venture backed software companies. He has been a founder or early employee of 6 companies including Ventix Systems (Acquired by Motive Communications), Question Technologies (Acquired by Motive Communications), Troux Technologies (Austin Ventures / Greylock funded), SciVestor and Piryx. Across these companies, Jonas has held a variety of executive roles including CEO, COO, VP Marketing, VP Business Development and VP Corporate Development. Jonas is also a co-founder and General Partner at Tech Ranch Austin, an accelerator for pre-seed and seed stage technology ventures.

Brian Upton
Development Director and Co-Founder

Brian Upton is an experienced technologist and software architect. Brian oversees all technology research and development at Piryx. Brian brings 10 years of expertise in software development to the Piryx management team. Prior to co-founding Piryx, Brian was instrumental in the development of a configuration management platform for an electronics manufacturing and repair company. He also has significant experience in the computer gaming market.
